Jasper and Tineke Klapwijk have lived and worked on the island of Curaçao from 1988 till 2003 and were heavily involved in the work of the Foundation. Currently, Jasper is a pastor for the reformed church in Winsum, The Netherlands.
ds. P. Schelling, pastor (rtd) of the reformed church in Amersfoort, The Netherlands
Pieter and his wife Ginie lived for one and a half year on the island of Curaçao in 2004 and 2005. Pastor Schelling served as an advisor to the board of elders of the church and visiting pastor and therefore took knowledge of the Foundation's work.
Jennifer Lindo-Snijder, Managing director of the GVI Foundation in Curaçao
The distribution of food parcel is actually outstanding. Our workers provide assistance to children who have been placed under superintendence of the children's court magistrate and therefore have daily access to families living in poverty. The aid we provide is not sufficient for them. Fortunately, the volunteers of the Curaçao Aid Foundation provide us monthly with food parcels for these families which are being distributed by our social workers. The parcels provide a very valuable addition to our efforts for these families.

Such a beautiful island surrounded by a beautiful sea and in contrast this smarting poverty. Many people live in wealth, but many are in vicious circle of no job, no money, no food, no school appliances, theft, use and trade of drugs etc. During my stay in Curaçao I was blessed to be able to help managing the Foundation to take away some of the ache. I fully recommend the Curaçao Aid Foundation, for which every penny is being spend on aid. All donations are used to provide food.

After living in Curaçao for years and helping to manage the Foundation under its former name Fundashon Yuda Nos Grandinan I Famianan I would hearty recommend your donations to the Foundation. I came close to see the smarting cases being supported by the Foundation by providing basic products to these people. The people we help are often victims of a undeveloped social insurance system and being socially weak, they are unable to reach the contacts and help they need. Being back in The Netherlands, there are only a few people who can imagine even the most basic provisions like power and water and basic products (refer the contents of a parcel) are simply not available. The aid provided by the frequent distribution of food parcels is received gratefully by the people, who looked forward to receive it and were often dependent on their food from it. Because of financial constraints we often had to choose between families who were going to receive a parcel and who were not. I wish nobody has to make those choices. For this reason I would highly recommend your donations to the Foundation. If you are interested in receiving more information about the Foundation and it's charity work, I would be glad to provide such. You are welcome to send me an email after reading the information on this website.

Former foundation board member, living in Curaçao for six and a half years. Currently living in Roden, The Netherlands.
During our time in Curaçao I assisted the Foundation for about three years. The poverties people are facing are unimaginable. Unfortunately, the distribution of food parcels still remains necessary. Will you donate for aid?
